• Easily mate (pair) SC UPC (blue) equipment sockets that require SC UPC (blue) connectors with existing SC APC (green) cabling infrastructure
• Simple, powerful solution – just plug the SC UPC male side into UPC equipment, ie a fiber media converter, router, or switch; plug the SC APC patch cord into a female socket of the adapter, and play!
• 0 dB attenuation – no added or return loss will be introduced to the fiber link.
• This adapter will eliminate the air gap between mating (pairing) surfaces that will appear it an SC APC patch cord is plugged into an SC UPC equipment socket, and therefore induce loss- this adapter solves this all.
• Having these adapters at hand is an easy and fast solution in cases where SC APC (Angled Physical Contact) type cables are installed and there is no way to change to SC UPC (Ultra straight Physical Contact) type connectors.
